KWG is owned and operated by two active managing partners.
Jim joined Karlen Advertising in 1989 and began acquiring equity interest as a partner/owner of Karlen Williams Graybill in 1993, serving all aspects of account, media and creative management during his tenure. He was instrumental in KWG’s seven-fold growth in the past ten years and now manages a company of over 50 employees and approximately $300MM in billings. He is a member of the Ad Club of New York, the One Club, and is frequently interviewed in media and trade publications.
Jeff has stewarded over two decades of success creating and managing advertising for CPG brands that outperform the marketplace. He has helped lead strategy, creative and media planning and buying services for a wide range of clients from large-cap clients like Reckitt Benckiser, Pfizer, and Sanofi to smaller-cap clients like Rembrandt Toothpaste, Apple & Eve Juices and e.l.f.

SVP, Media Innovation
Valerie leads KWG online and offline media. In her 12 years at KWG she has built the media department into an integrated cross platform team. This holistic approach enables KWG to develop innovative solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs in a dynamic, digital world. Given her experience across traditional and digital channels, she understands all aspects of today’s complex media and marketing landscape.
SVP, Strategy Director
Sarah leads KWG’s reinvention of brands and acceleration of brand value with a collaborative, insight-driven approach to brand strategy. She guides the team in synthesizing data to hone focused strategies, creative and 360° brand ideas that drive results. Sarah works across all agency disciplines with client partners and outside specialists to bring the best thinking.
Chrissy is the Account Director at KWG, leading the Account Management team and serving as a brand steward for the agency to ensure strategic brand objectives and brand position are carried throughout campaigns. Since joining KWG in 2007 she has led the day-to-day account management for over 40 national brands.
VP, Finance and Operations
She oversees all business operations and financial matters, including approximately $500 million in billings. She ensures employee wellbeing. Deb Sullivan is the glue that holds the agency together and the machine that keeps it running. And she recently celebrated her 15th year with KWG.
Director of Analytics & Results
A highly experienced marketing and analytics professional, Jesse previously served as Client Director—Research & Analytics at Initiative, a global communications network within IPG Mediabrands. His prior experience includes management and consulting roles at Omnicom Media Group and Anderson Analytics.
